A piece of my story

Pinned on the bulletin board in front of my desk is a picture of a hawk perched on the ledge of a 30 story building in New York City, looking at the traffic below. I’ve written the words to a Patrick Overton poem beneath the hawk.

When you come to the edge
of all the light that you have,
And you must take a step
into the darkness of the unknown
Believe that one of two things will happen
Either you will find something solid to stand on
Or you will be taught how to fly

Last year I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Crises, like major illness, war or disasters, tend to give rise to a refreshing intimacy. People get to the point with their love. The extraneous superficiality gets edited.

It is here, at this place of essence, from which I coach — this dance with the uncertainty of each moment.

I have extensive experience working with individuals and groups — privately and within organizations. Though the settings change, what remains constant is the powerful desire of each and every one of my clients to deepen their relationship with themselves and contribute to the world around them.
